week 4 my writing so far
These past few weeks at ICC have really helped me become better at my writing not only because we have to write a lot of papers, but because so many things go on here that since I like to write poems about my day I have written a lot lately. Now weather they are any good or not I don’t know, my boyfriend says they are, of course I don’t know if he is just being nice or what. My sentence structure still needs a lot of work but other than that I think I am improving a lot. I’m really excited to start on our next paper for English class I feel that I will do my best on it because we get to choose the topic of what we write. I love the fact that we get to choose the topic because it’s something new to me I’m so used to being told what to write about and I tend to get really bored with what I’m writing if I’m not interested in the subject so I don’t do well on the paper, but I have a feeling that I will do fairly well on this next paper.

same here..i'm glad that we get to choose our topic too b/c if the topic chosen doesn't interest me then i don't do as well. Hope you do well
ReplyDeletei agree with you markie, i am not great at doing papers when there assigned on a specific topic. It's easier for me to think of my own and get better ideas. I feel pretty confident on my topic too because there's lot to mention. Im sure you'll do great with your paper and have well-developed poems.

I agree 1 million percent! I love the fact we get to write about our own tpopics! Another thing is maybe sometime youshould post some of your poetry or even share them in class. It would be really cool! PLus you can get more feed back.
ReplyDeleteYes, I totally feel the same way I am glad that we have been able to choose our own topic but sometimes it makes it kinda hard too.
ReplyDeleteHi Markie! I totally agree with you when you say that its cool that we get to write about what we want. I am so hused to writing about what someone tells me write about, then i am not able to express my feelkings like i want to.
